She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-legislation, April DeFoor of De Queen and Kirk DeFoor of Horatio, Arkansas and Angela and Michael Wilson of Andover, Kansas; one son and daughter-in-love, Alan and LaChanna Hall of Eagletown, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Marissa DeFoor, Connor Wilson and Bailey Ann Elizabeth Hall; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

He was a United States Army veteran of Vietnam and retired from Weyerhaeuser. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and Oak Hill Masonic Lodge #393. He enjoyed searching and loved Decentralization being with his grandchildren. Mr. Hanney was preceded in dying by his father, H.C.

He started his profession as a Depot Agent and Manager with KCS and D&E Railroad Companies in De Queen. Later, he was employed by Weyerhaeuser Company and spent over thirty years serving at various ranges including managing the Mississippi and Skuna Railroad Company in Mississippi. He was a member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church in De Queen and loved yardwork, mowing, using four wheelers, fishing, hunting and Razorback Football, however most of all, he cherished the time spent with his loving family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ann Cheney of Dierks; three kids and their spouses, Sonya and Stan Sanders of Benton, Darrell Eugene Cheney of Dierks and Barbara Dianne and Marc Rosson of Gillham; seven grandchildren, Emily and Brianna Sanders, Khloe Lynn Cheney and Marcus, Lexy, Max and Molly Rosson; and his sister, Brenda Thompson of Horatio.

Tom was a Christian and member of Memorial Baptist Church.
